PM Oli presents different national and provincial talent awards



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has awarded various litterateurs and personalities from different national awards, including National and Provincial Talent Award-2020.

At a programme organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar Friday, PM Oli presented ‘Bhagat Sarbajit Manab Maryada National Award’, ‘Gopal Prasad Rimal National Award’ and ‘Mahakabi Devkota National Award’. Each award carries a purse of Rs 100,000.

Mahakabi Devkota National Award was presented to five litterateurs under different genres of literature as well as National and Provincial Talent Award-2020 to other literary figures based on province-level.

Puran Singh Dayal, Baitadi, Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) and Jagaran Media Centre were awarded with ‘Sarbajit Manab Maryada National Award’. Similarly, the PM presented ‘Gopal Prasad Rimal National Award’ to Prof Dr Devi Prasad Subedi, Lamjung, and Sneha Sayami, Kathmandu. Likewise, Trilochan Acharya, Thakur Prasad Parajuli, Rambharos Kapadi Bhramar, Bund Rana and Mohan Duwal received ‘Mahakabi Devkota National Award’. RSS
