Former US President Obama’s book to be released in 2020

WASHINGTON: Former President Barack Obama’s memoir will be released in 2020, media reports have said. The Obama Post-White House memoir, a highly anticipated book, was expected to be released in 2019.

The former president wrote the book himself — the first draft in handwritten form on legal pads, the same technique that he used for numerous White House speeches and his first best-seller, “Dreams from My Father.”, publisher Penguin Random House informed.

The former president and his wife, Michelle Obama, signed lucrative book deals in 2017. Michelle book was released last year and quickly became one of the most popular political memoirs in history, with more than 10 million copies sold worldwide.
