Project HOPE representatives assures PM Oli of providing health supplies



KATHMANDU: Representatives of Pratiman-Neema Memorial Foundation Bhairahawa and the US-based Project HOPE have assured Prime Minister KP Oli of medical supplies to Nepal.

Chairperson of the Foundation Bijaya KC informed the Prime Minister about the purpose of establishing the Foundation and the work done so far through it.

Informing about the organization, Vice President of the Foundation Deepak Bohara said that the Foundation has been conducting various programs against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Swati Thapa, Executive Director of the Foundation informed that the building premises of the establishment have been given as a “holding center”.

According to her, with the support of Project HOPE, around 5,000 health workers have been trained to fight against COVID-19 and vaccines against coronavirus.

Likewise, she also informed that a large number of health items will be brought to Nepal from Washington, the USA by a chartered flight within this month.
