UML task force revived, meeting underway at Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: The task force formed by the UML factions to ensure party unity has been revived and began discussions at Singha Durbar Monday evening.

The task force has Subash Nembang as coordinator on behalf of UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli faction and Bishnu Prasad Poudel, Pradeep Gyawali, Shankar Pokhrel and Bishnu Rimal as members.

Senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal faction has Bhim Rawal as coordinator while Surendra Pandey, Ghanshyam Bhusal, Gokarna Bista and Raghuji Pant are members.

The task force formed on May 16 had been inactive after Chairman Oli decided to expel task force Coordinator Rawal on May 26. The task force had stopped holding meetings four days after it was created.

The task force was revived following 2-hour long discussion between Oli and Rawal.
