House Dissolution: Constitutional Bench hearing debates today as well

Legal practitioners to debate on behalf of Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota



KATHMANDU: Debates on the issue of dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) will continue in the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court on Sunday.

Five legal practitioners will debate on behalf of Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota in the session on Sunday. Two hours have been set aside for them.

After that, the advocates will respond on behalf of the petitioners.

The Constitutional Bench is hearing the writ petition filed by 146 lawmakers demanding that Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba be made the prime minister.

The amicus curiae from the Supreme Bar and Nepal Bar will debate for two-hours on the issue.
