NEPSE decreases by 47.49 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 47.49 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2828.00 points.

A total of 14.044 million shares of 223 companies traded resulting in a turnover of Rs 6.72 billion.

All sub-indices except microfinance have declined in Nepse today. While the microfinance sub-index increased by 0.51 percent, the finance company sub-index declined the most by 4.11 percent.

As the monetary policy approaches, various sub-indices have declined despite the attraction of investors in microfinance due to various rumors.

Today, the Development Bank sub-index increased by 3.95 percent, the investment sub-index 3.43 percent, the hydropower sub-index 2.63 percent, the other sub-index 2.35 percent, and the market-leading banking sub-index 1.36 percent. Shares of Radhi Power Company have been the most traded today.

The turnover of the company was 498.335 million while that of National Hydropower was 367.85 million. development Company fell by 8.07 percent and that of West Finance by 8.01 percent.
