KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has called a meeting of its central working committee to discuss the 14th general convention at the party office in Sanepa today.
The meeting to be held at 2 pm on Sunday will focus on the 14th general convention, according to party chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
Sunday’s meeting will basically discuss the preparations for the general convention.
Likewise, the meeting will also discuss and review complaints regarding active membership.
Deuba will also discuss resolving the complaints of active membership in the party.
The Nepali Congress has so far 800,000 active members.
The party’s General Convention is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from September 1 to 4 this year.
