Opposition parties’ meeting underway at Deuba’s residence



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the five-party alliance is underway at Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilakantha.

NC President Deuba had called the meeting of the opposition alliance to discuss the recent political developments and Tuesday’s Supreme Court’s decision.

CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, and Rastriya Janamorcha leader are meeting at Deuba’s residence.

NC Senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and party General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka are also participating in the meeting, a leader said.
