A CC meeting of the party held virtually Monday morning dismissed CC members, provincial lawmakers and local representatives who quit the party to join the CPN-UML.

The Moist Center had informed the Election Commission in writing but had not submitted the minute to the CC.  The party will now send the minute once it is endorsed by the CC.

Today’s CC meeting has endorsed the party’s decision, informed central member Hari Dahal.

Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had also briefed the CC members on the latest political development of the country in the meeting.
