Man dies electrocuted at the flood damaged electric pole in Melamchi



MELAMCHI: A flood victim of Melamchi has died  electrocuted at the electric pole and cable damaged by the devastating flood in the area.

According to Sindhupalchowk police, Dharmaraj Dulal of Melamchi Bazaar was electrocuted on the way to fetch a excavator to prevent erosion.

Dulal was heading to Melamchi bazar from Melamchi-10, Majhigaun when he got electrocuted near the suspension bridge. Recent flood had damaged the electric pole and the pole was lying on the ground.

Dulal was found dead next to the pole.

The police are investigating for further details.
