Nepal records 2,745 new COVID-19 cases, 41 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 545 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,745 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,681 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 1,064 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 455 persons in Kathmandu, 74 in Lalitpur, and 16 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 545 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 41 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 4,187 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
