KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress(NC) Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma has sent an open letter to Gandaki Province Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali, who is the first CM from the NC and the party’s parliamentary party (PP) leader in the province.
Nepali became the CM with the support of the opposition alliance comprised of his party, CPN-Maoist Center, Rastriya Janamorcha, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and an independent provincial lawmaker.
In the letter sent Tuesday, Sharma urged CM Nepali to make informed decisions for developing the province under the guidance of experts.
“The pregnant woman who died for want of oxygen and the 21-day-old baby who was thrown out of hospital due to insufficient treatment funds in Pokhara must be remembered while preparing the budget. To understand the current government’s administrative and political responsibilities and duties of a CM, you ought to picture these two faces of two different families,” Sharma wrote.
He advised CM Nepali to gather suggestions from the truth instead of the dark while cautioning that one mistake or mistake was enough to be criticized whereas a lot has to be done to establish a good image.
He reminded CM Nepali that his deeds were linked to the party’s future image and that he was a PP leader of just the NC but Chief Minister of all.
