Nepal sees 3,384 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

61 deaths reported across country, Kathmandu sees 598 new cases

KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 3,384 new cases of coronavirus while 6,295 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 61 infected patients died of the virus infection in the past 24 hours. With the recent death toll, total deaths caused due to COVID-19 reached 8,366 in the country.

There were 391 new cases in Kathmandu, 130 in Lalitpur and 77 in Bhaktapur, making the total cases in Kathmandu Valley 598.
