Five girls drown in pond in Dhanusha



DHANUSHA: Five girls aged 10 to 13 years have drowned in a pond this noon at Laxmipur of Mukhiyapatti Musaharniya-6, Dhanusha, the district in Province-2.

According to the District Police Office, the incident happened at around 12:00 as the girls went to a nearby pond for a bath. The deceased have been identified as Laxminiya, 12, daughter of Paltu Yadav, Chandra Kumari, 10, daughter of Jogindra Bhagat, Manju, 13, daughter of Rajgir Purve , Chandani, 12, daughter of Jagarnath Thakur and Lalita, 12, daughter of Uttim Saha.
