Impeach judge who blocked Citizenship Ordinance: UML leader Sah

KATHMANDU: Former Minister and CPN-UML leader Prabhu Shah has criticized the Supreme Court’s interim order of blocking the ordinance on citizenship.

He demanded that the judge who issued the order should be impeached.

Taking to his Facebook account, Sah said that the judge has to be impeached terming the order unpredictable and irresponsible.

“This will lead the country towards crisis,” he has warned.

Sah writes, “Since this order makes Nepali citizens refugees in their own country, increases mistrust in the people and creates chaos by spreading anarchy, it is necessary to impeach the judges involved in it.”
