Rs 13 billion set aside for refinancing



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 13 billion for refinancing.

Unveiling the budget of fiscal year 2021/22 Saturday, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel said refinancing budget will contribute to loans to returnee migrant youths at 5 percent to set up small, domestic and medium sized enterprises.

Similarly, the government has decided to provide loans of up to Rs 80,000 at an interest rate of 1 percent to secondary and higher secondary level students to buy laptops for alternative education.
