Sharda Group assists to combat against COVID-19



KATHMANDU: As part of the government’s efforts to deter and monitor the spread of COVID-19, Sharda Group and its various ventures have joined hands to undertake supportive activities as part of their corporate social responsibility.

The Group has announced to build a 30-bed Isolation Center and a 15-bed ICU COVID Hospital in Duhabi Municipality.

Sharda Group has pledged to provide free oxygen and medication to all patients, as well as free package food for patients and free meals for family members waiting for the dear ones to recover.

Likewise, the Group is assisting with the donation of an oxygen plant in Kathmandu through the Confederation of Nepalese Industries, as well as providing Rs four lakhs monetary donations for the operation of a 51-bed isolation unit in Gaushala under the Madwari Service Committee, also offering patients with free oxygen.

The Sharda Group has also pledged to provide free oxygen and medication to all patients, as well as free package food for patients and free meals for family members waiting for the family to receive at Lahan Municipality.

Likewise, other companies where the group has sizeable investments have also made contributions.

The Hongshi Shivam Cement has donated 200 oxygen concentrators to the Ministry of Health and Population, and the Shivam Cement has given 35 beds to the COVID Center in Makwanpur, which has an ICU and isolation area, as well as free oxygen and medications.
