166 security personnel infected with COVID-19 in Province 1



BIRATNAGAR: As many as 166 security personnel have been infected with coronavirus in Province 1.

According to the Province Police Office in Biratnagar, 134 Nepal Police personnel and 32 Armed Police Force personnel have been infected with the virus.

According to Mahendra Kumar Shrestha, Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police at the Provincial Police Office, one Deputy Superintendent of Police, four Inspectors, 28 Assistant Inspectors, 32 Police Constables, and six office assistants have been infected with the virus.

Similarly, 32 personnel from the Armed Police Force are confirmed to have been infected.
