NEW DELHI: At least 33 people were killed after Cyclone Fani struck the Indian state of Odisha on Friday, media reports said.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been left homeless after the cyclone slammed into eastern India.

The winds of about 200 km per hour ripped out tin roofs and destroyed power and telecom lines, according to officials. (Agencies)
