PM Oli calls Cabinet meeting after President’s Office notification



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a Cabinet meeting at the PM’s official office at Friday midnight after the President’s Office issued a notice invalidating both the claims submitted to form majority government.

PM Oli and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba filed their claims earlier Friday.

A Cabinet meeting was called for Friday evening but could not take place.

Ministers were called to the meeting at 11 pm after waiting for notification from the President’s Office.
