Maoist Center holding SC meeting today

To announce programs to curb COVID-19



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) is holding its Standing Committee (SC) meeting today.

To be held at 11 am at the central party office in Paris Danda, the meeting will dwell on the COVID-19 pandemic, its prevention and control, said Maoist Center’s SC member Ganesh Shah.

According to Shah, the meeting will come up with different programs and plans to mobilize the party rank and file to control the COVID-19 that is taking a heavy toll on the human health in the country, of late.

The party in today’s meeting will dwell on what it can do to curb the COVID-19 pandemic, said Shah, concluding that the incumbent government has failed to control it, completely.

Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda on Wednesday had held a consultation with doctors, health workers and experts on COVID-19.
