COVID-19: India records new 276,261 cases, 3,880 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 276,261 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 25,771,405.

Currently,3,135,566 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 22,348,683 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 287,100-mark.

With 3,880 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 287,156, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,430,987 and infected 165,534,994 globally until the filing of this news.
