WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 33,713,438 in the United States of America after 17,522 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 5,979,529 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 27,133,764 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 600,145 with 287 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,392,783 and infected 163,699,347 globally until the filing of this news.
