Nepal Police collects 673 oxygen cylinders



KATHMANDU: Nepal Police has collected altogether 673 oxygen cylinders from across the country in the past 24 hours and distributed it to the essential sectors.

Of the collected cylinders, 326 are oxygen-filled cylinders while 347 others are empty ones.

Police Headquarters said that Covid hospitals and oxygen plant industries have been given a total of 585 cylinders.

Spokesperson of Nepal Police Basant Bahadur Kunwar said that a total of 182 oxygen cylinders have been kept in District Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre and District Police Offices and would be distributed as per the demand.

Kunwar said that oxygen cylinders kept in stock in different industries, factories, gas wielding, stores, godowns and other sites expect for health purpose were collected to provide for the hospitals in the time of Covid-19 crisis.
