Civil Hospital converted into COVID-19-dedicated hospital



KATHMANDU: Civil Hospital based in Baneshwor has now been transformed into COVID-19-dedicated Hospital.

An agreement was reached between the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Pradesh and the hospital on Friday to operate the civil hospital as a COVID-19 hospital.

Civil Hospital has been transformed into a 150-bed COVID-19 Hospital.

Meanwhile, the Bagmati province government will provide a grant of Rs. 224.5 million to the hospital. The agreement between the Ministry of Social Development and the hospital states that the hospital should make all the necessary financial, material, and manpower arrangements for the operation.

The hospital has to inform the Ministry of Health every day about the condition of the patients being treated.
