KATHMANDU: Top-notch leaders of the main opposition Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center) and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) are holding a meeting in Budhanilkantha.

Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, JSP chairman Upendra Yadav have reached NC President Deuba’s residence to discuss the latest developments including the upcoming National Assembly (NA) election, said a source close to Prachanda.

It has been learnt that Maoist Center Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha, leader Pampha Bhusal, Onsari Gharti Magar are taking part in the meeting aside from Prachanda.

Similarly, leaders including Narayan Khadka are participating in the meeting from NC.
NC and JSP have fielded Khim Lal Devkota as a common candidate for the NA by-election.

Devkota has also been backed by Madhav-Khnal faction.

The NA by-election is being held on May 20.
