Eight more succumb to coronavirus in Banke



NEPALGUNJ: Eight more people have died due to coronavirus in Banke district.

The focal person of District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center in Banke, Tej Bahadur Wali, said that five died at Bheri Hospital, two at Kohalpur Medical College and one at home isolation.

A 64-year-old woman died in home isolation at the Khajura village municipality ward no 1 in the district.

Likewise, a 40-year-old male of Lamkichuha in Kailali died at Kohalpur Medical College.

Similarly, a 67-year-old woman of Salyan Kumakh rural municipality died in Bheri Hospital.

According to him, a 59-year-old man of Bardia Madhuban Municipality Ward No. 6 died while undergoing treatment in Bheri Hospital.

Similarly, a 35-year-old woman of Baijnath rural municipality, and a 75-year-old woman of Khajura rural municipality, succumbed to the virus in Bheri Hospital.

According to Wali, a 61-year-old woman of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan Ward no. 5 died in the same hospital.

A 28-year-old man of Kohalpur Municipality breathed his last at the Kohalpur Medical College.

The number of deaths from coronavirus in the district has reached 222.
