PM Oli and UML senior leader Nepal hold telephone conversation

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli called CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal Thursday and asked the latter to sit for a meeting.

Party leader Subash Chandra Nemwang said that PM Oli and senior leader Nepal held a telephone conversation today.

Leader Nepal has reportedly told PM Oli that he would be ready to sit for talks in the afternoon.

It should be noted that a meeting of the UML Standing Committee held at the PM’s official residence in Baluawatar this morning decided to revoke the suspension against four leaders, including Nepal, Bhim Rawal, Ghanshyam Bhusal and Surendra Pandey.

Meanwhile, the UML party has also given Chairman Oli the right to take all necessary decisions to keep the party united.

The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the UML Standing Committee held in Baluwatar on Thursday.

After the meeting, UML leader Pradeep Gyawali said that the right to make necessary decisions to solve any problems within the party has been delegated to Chairman and Prime Minister Oli.
