NC demands arrangement of aircraft to ferry medical stuff



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has asked the government to arrange aircraft to ferry medical goods that remain stranded in various airports in China.

The medical appliances procured by Nepali companies for Covid-19 response were left unattended in China for lack of aircrafts to fly them home.

Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, NC’s chief whip Bal Krishna Khand urged the government and the authorities concerned to facilitate in bringing those medical goods.

Stating that the covid-19 cases and fatalities were rising in the country, the NC drew the attention of the government to make sure that the citizens, especially the Covid-19 patients, avail healthcare services at the time of health crisis like this.
