Prohibition order in Kathmandu Valley extended till May 27



KATHMANDU: The prohibitory order imposed in the Kathmandu Valley has been extended by 15 days.

A meeting of the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur Tuesday has decided to extend the prohibitory order till May 27.

Similarly, the meeting also decided to close all the construction works except  national pride projects, said Lalit Basnet, Acting Chief District Officer of Lalitpur.

According to Basnet, the meeting decided to stop wedding ceremonies, bratbandhas, and banquets at the party palace and more than 10 people will not be allowed to attend such a program at home.
