KATHMANDU: A wide body airbus 330 of the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is flying to Beijing, the capital city of China, to fetch medical goods including oxygen cylinders.

The NAC’s airbus will fly to northern neighbor China at 11 pm today and return at 2 pm on Tuesday, informed general manager of the national flag carrier, Dim Prakash Paudel.

The airbus will bring 400 oxygen cylinders in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population.

“The airbus will bring only 400 oxygen cylinders this time even though the government had said it would bring 20,000 oxygen cylinders from China,” said Karishma Shrestha, the spokesperson at the NAC.
