Ward chairman dies of coronavirus in Bajura



MARTADI: A ward-chairman of Badimalika MunicipalityIn in Bajura has died of coronavirus pandemic on Saturday.

According to Bajura District Hospital sources, Binod Kumar BK, the ward chairman of Badimalika Municipality Ward No. 9 died of coronavirus on Saturday afternoon.

The 35-year-old chairman was kept in isolation at the district hospital after the infection. However, he was rushed to Dadeldhura after his health deteriorated further.

BK died at Accham’s Sanfebagar before he could reach Dadeldhura.
