KABUL: Blasts close to a school in the Afghan capital Kabul have killed at least 30 people and dozens more injured, Afghan officials have said.
The explosions took place as students were leaving the building, BBC reported.
Most of the victims were girls, according to the report.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack in Dasht-e-Barchi – an area often hit by Sunni Islamist militants.
Taliban militants, however, denied any involvement, according to BBC.
Afghan officials said the explosions were caused by a car bomb and mortars.
