Gagan Thapa alleges PM knew about vaccine procurement corruption



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress lawmaker Gagan Thapa has alleged that Prime Minister KP Oli knew about the commission scam related with vaccine procurement yet took no action to stop it on time.

Commenting on the vaccine procurement irregularities scam, Thapa has said on his social media, on Friday, that Prime Minister KP Oli knew about the irregularities in vaccine procurement, yet without taking action, he got involved in it.

“The public evidence establishes the fact that the irregularity in the vaccine procurement is a crime,” he said, adding, “The Prime Minister knew about the corruption, yet took no action to curb it.”

Thapa has stated that there is no point in telling the accused to investigate on the scam

He has demanded that the parliament must fulfill its obligation to investigate this crime.
