Minister Julie Mahato and her hubby test positive for COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Julie Kumari Mahato and her husband former minister Raghubir Mahaseth have tested positive for COVID-19.

Posting a twitter message, Minister Mahato informed that she has been infected with the COVID-19.

Currently, she is under the vigil of doctors and her health condition is normal.

“I will soon resume my duties after a full recovery. I would like to request you all to be aware and stay safe from COVID-19,” she said in the twitter message.

Earlier, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19.

Similarly, Energy Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi and Minister for Water Supply Mani Thapa had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
