NEPSE increases by 54 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 54 points on Sunday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2665.10 points.

A total of Rs 7.36 billion worth of shares have been bought and sold today.

The banking group has increased by 19 points, trade by 79 points, hotels, and tourism by 111 points, development banks by 38 points, hydropower by 37 points, finance by 16 points, non-life insurance by 448 points, manufacturing by 150 points, others by 94 points, microfinance by 104 points and life insurance by 632 points.

The value of the three companies has increased by 10 percent. Prices of women’s microfinance institutions, Bishal Bazaar and Singati Hydro have increased by an average of 10 percent.

Similarly, the company’s turnover in reinsurance was Rs 400 million and the price has increased by about 5 percent. The value of Nepal Telecom increased by 4 percent with a turnover of Rs 320 million.
