Minister Gurung says govt determined to translate “Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepalis”



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has extended the message of best wishes to all on the occasion of 4th National Information and Communication Technology Day, 2078.

The Day is being marked under the theme of “Base of Prosperous Nepal, Expansion of Communication and Information Technology”.

In his message, Minister Gurung has said that the government is determined to fully implement the program for achieving the goal of good governance, sustainable development and poverty alleviation.

“The government has unveiled ‘Nagarik App’ to provide all government services to the citizens online for making information technology-friendly Nepal,” the Minister said adding that the government was determined to translate the national target of “Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepalis” by linking every sector to the information and communication technology.

Minister Gurung also said that the programs of ‘Digital Nepal Framework’ would be effectively implemented by preparing policy, legal and structural bases.
