KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Bam Dev Gautam has said he admits his flaws and will undergo self-criticism.
Issuing a press note on May Day, he suggested all leaders and cadres self-analyze their weaknesses on the occasion and renew their commitment to re-unite the Nepali communist movement. “I too have found my weaknesses and have been working to overcome them,” he adds.
The UML leader sees leaders of the working class disrupting the working-class movement through self-interested activities for personal gain. In addition, Gautam warns that if such activities are not stopped, regression will be replaced.
He is scared that historical achievements will come to an end and the bright future of Nepalis attached to prosperous socialism will be shadowed for many many years if leaders are not accountable to the working-class.
