Two killed  in Morang road mishap



ITAHARI: Two people have died in a road accident in Morang district.

The deceased have been identified as 51-year-old Sahabir Magar of Miklajung rural municipality-5 and an elderly woman of Belbari-9, according to District Police Office, Morang.

Magar died after being hit by a passenger bus, Ko 1 Kha 1924, heading to Jante from Pathari, at Letang municipality-8, Jante on Thursday evening, said DSP Man Bahadur Rai.

He died on the spot after being crushed by the rear wheel of the bus while getting off the bus.

Similarly, Manmaya Tamang,83, of Belbari-9, died after being hit by a motorcycle on Thursday night.

Critically injured octogenarian woman died in the course of treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital at 8:30 pm, said Rai.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the vehicles involved in the accidents under control.
