Two more succumb to coronavirus in Banke

NEPALGUNJ: Two persons – one each at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj, and Kohalpur Medical College – have succumbed to coronavirus in Banke district.

According to Tej Bahadur Wali, focal person at the District Kovid-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke, a 51-year-old woman from Kailali of Tikapur died at Bheri Hospital and a 33-year-old man from Nepalgunj succumbed to the virus at Kohalpur Medical College.

The woman was brought to the Bheri Hospital on Thursday for treatment. She died at the hospital at around 10 in the morning.

Likewise, the 33-year-old male of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 8 was admitted on April 27 after undergoing PCR test.

The number of deaths due to corona in Banke has reached 108 as of Thursday.
