Bagmati Pradesh CM Poudel expanding cabinet today

Three ministers and one state minister to be sworn-in at 4 pm



MAKWANPUR: The Bagmati Province government is expanding the cabinet on Wednesday.

Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh Dormani Poudel is inducting three ministers and one state minister in his cabinet today.

Ministerial portfolios had remained vacant after three ministers stepped down on December 25, 2020.

Those to be inducted in the cabinet are Juneli Shrestha, Chandra Lama, Keshav Pandey and Dr Raj Kumar Adhikari. Preparations are underway to administer oath of office and secrecy to them at 4 pm, informed UML lawmaker Dipak Niraula.

Earlier, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Shalikram Jamarkattel, Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Arun Nepal and Minister for Social Development Yubaraj Dulal had tendered resignations from their posts.
