COVID-19: India records new 319,435 infections, 2,764 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 319,435 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 17,625,735.

Currently, 2,882,513 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 14,545,342 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 197,800-mark.

With 2,764 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 197,880, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.
