Sexagenarian woman dies of COVID-19 in Kailali



DHANGADHI: A woman infected with COVID-19 has died in the course of treatment in Kailali district.

A 62-year-old woman succumbed to the virus while undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital this morning.

Originally from Godawari municipality-3, Kailali, the sexagenarian woman died at 5 am today while receiving treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, Dilip Kumar Shrestha, the spokesperson for the hospital said.

According to Shrestha, she was also suffering from pneumonia and respiratory complications. She had been admitted to the hospital on April 20.
