NCP failed to remain intact due to Prachanda and Madhav Nepal: PM Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli has held Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” and UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal responsible for splitting the then Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

Speaking at a party meeting in Baluwatar on Friday, Prime Minister Oli claimed that he worked day and night to make the NCP intact.

Sources quoted him as saying, “I left no stone to keep the party intact. But I failed due to intra-party wrangling and the interests and ambitions of Prachanda and Madhav Nepal.”

PM Oli also said that he is still flexible to bring back the disgruntled leaders of the Madhav faction to the party.
