All-party meeting called by CM Poudel discusses three key issues



KATHMANDU:  An all-party meeting called by Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh has discussed three key agendas including the resumption of the deadlocked provincial assembly session, prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic and upcoming policies and programs of the province.

“The all-party meeting dwelled on the resumption of the halted provincial assembly session, how to tackle the coronavirus pandemic in the days ahead in coordination with local, provincial and federal levels and upcoming policies and programs,” Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development of Bagmati Pradesh Rameshwar Phuyal said.

In the meeting held at the Provincial Center for Good Governance in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Chef Minister Poudel sought suggestions on the policies and programs of the fiscal year, 2077/78 BS from the leaders present in meeting.

Leaders from CPN-UML, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP), and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) were present in the all-party meeting.

Maoist Center leaders, however, did not attend the meeting since they were outside the Kathmandu Valley.
