NEPSE decreases by 35.89



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 35.89 points on Sunday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2699.51 points.

A total of Rs 8.80 billion worth of shares have been bought and sold.

All groups except mutual funds have declined today. Banking sub-index dropped by 33 points, trade by 125 points, hotels, and tourism by 92 points, development banks by 48 points, hydropower by 32 points, finance by 16 points, non-life insurance by 183 points, manufacturing by 67 points, others by 21 points, microfinance by 50 points and life insurance by 111 points.

Mutual funds have increased by only 0.06 points. On this day, the value of the two companies has increased by some 10 percent. Women’s microfinance and Jyoti Life Insurance increased by 9.9 percent.

The other two companies, Divyashwori Hydropower, and Nepal Hydro Developers increased 9.4 percent and 9 percent, respectively.

The value of Goodwill Finance has decreased the most by 5 percent. Everest Bank topped the list in terms of turnover.

Similarly, NIC Asia Microfinance had a turnover of Rs. 550 million. NIFRA and Arun Kabeli were also in the forefront of the most traded companies.
