Nepal records 900 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 900 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 836 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 64 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 286 persons in Kathmandu, 43 in Lalitpur, and 19 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, as of Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, 208 persons have returned home after complete health recovery today.

Similarly, the ministry shared that four more fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 3070.
