Mainstream parties unfit to rule: CK Raut

KATHMANDU:  CK Raut-led Janmat Party (JP) has labeled major political parties including Nepali Congress, CPN-UML as unfit for ruling the country anymore for they have lost their connection with the people and their agenda.

The party constitution endorsed by the first general convention held recently in Janakpur has labeled Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML as the parties of the feudalists working against the poor and marginalized, and the extreme single-caste party respectively.

Similarly, JP has criticized CPN (Maoist Center) for betraying the agenda of change by bargaining it for power.

Likewise, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has been criticized for playing with the sentiments of Madhesi people and being subservient to the government. The Madhesh-centric parties are lambasted saying they value power more than the people’s agenda.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has been dubbed as an anti-republican and anti-federal force striving to restore monarchy.
