COVID-19: India records 160,694 infection cases in past 24 hrs



NEW DELHI: India recorded 160,694 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 13,686,073.

Currently, 1,264,544 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 12,250,440 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 171,000-mark.

With 880 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 171,089, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
