Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 3,040 with one more death in past 24 hrs



KATHMANDU: One more COVID-19 patient has succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the country witnessed one more COVID-19 related death on Sunday taking the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 3,040.

Meanwhile,

Nepal recorded a total of 303 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP), the coronavirus tally reached 2,80,028 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 2,961 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 141 have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,74,027 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
